Ten vital ingredients to a successful business

There were 7,674 business failures between July to September 2009*. The recession is certainly a major contributing factor, but what are the other reasons for business failure?

A survey of several thousand failed small businesses focused on the most common root causes of business failures, rather than simply look at reports from liquidators.

The results were not what those who commissioned the survey were expecting. Some of the expected root causes weren’t reported and instead a number of unexpected reasons cropped up again and again. Ten issues emerged as being the most common cause of small business failure.

In this seminar, we will examine those ten issues and turn them around to identify the ten vital ingredients for a successful business. If you are an owner-manager and don’t want to be in exactly the same place in five years time as you are now; this is the seminar for you.

Topics to be discussed:

* The real root causes of small business failure
* The ten vital ingredients for business success
* Developing a strategic plan for your business
* Getting "buy in" from your team

This informal seminar will be hosted by A4G Accountants for Growth and will give you the opportunity to ask questions regarding any issues you may have.

All local businesses are invited to attend.

This seminar takes place on Thursday 17 June from 7.45am until 9.00am at the Brands Hatch racecourse. Breakfast will be provided.
