Tony Isbitt meets the Bank Manager
Wednesday 12th Jan was BM day. This is the day our bank manager from Nat West made his annual visit. We had to be good boys and girls today and although our studio is always clean and tidy, today was an extra layer of polish and a new smelly air freshner thing plugged in. In advance we had prepared a projection of how we see this years business. It is important to be realistic about the year and, as in previous years, prove you can do what you say you can do.
Bank managers are not silly people. They meet a lot of business people and know when someone has their head in the clouds (I was going to say BS but I think in todays world it may be considered not pc.) Maybe we have a particularly good manager.
There is no point saying things to impress and then failing to deliver. After 30 years in our business we never promise too much and always do a bit better than we said we could do.
I have been to many seminars locally and listened in, in my role as a commisioned photographer, to some pretty heavy finacial seminars in the city where business CEO's talk in light year figures. The common thread is honesty in what is achievable. Anyway our bank manager left with a happy smile on his face and no doubt we shall see him next year, that's my prediction!
You can contact Tony Isbitt at studio@which.net for an honest quote for your photoshoot.
