Special Educational Needs (SEN) & Learning to drive
Mastering the level of co-ordination, skill & confidence necessary for driving is difficult for any aspiring young motorist, and it can be especially challenging for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
However, with the right approach and a driving school that cares and has experience teaching students with SEN, the learning experience can be fun, enjoyable and even more importantly, successful!
The first thing any student needs to do is to find the right driving school. At the driving Skool.com we have dedicated Driving Instructors, who are extremely patient and friendly who have experience in teaching students with a number of different challenges, including those outlined in our previous pages.
If you do not have the right help or the adjustments made to your lessons that you require, learning can become more difficult, take longer and ultimately cost more! To find out more about how we can help and what can be achieved, (perhaps not make you the next Sir Jackie Stewart, who incidentally is dyslexic), but certainly into a very able and safe independent driver.
