Welcome to the new and sparkling member's blog. Anyone who is a registered member of The Bromley Business Club can now post articles to the site. So get preparing and writing blog posts giving your expert view point on your industry.

This is your chance to connect with visitors to the club website and turn  those visitors into customers. If you don't have a company website then your blog posts could be the only outlet you have to express your opinion.

A blog is a great way to share your industry knowledge whilst at the same time giving over some of your personality. Some of the best blog posts are not just informative but also funny Wink

Here are a few tips on how to write a good blog post:

  • Keep paragraphs short - the bigger the paragraph the harder it is for you to follow the sentence and concentrate when reading online.
  • Make it personal - add humour or personal opinion so readers know there is a human touch and not a machine behind the post.
  • Don't copy and paste a press release - a blog isn't the place for a sales pitch, make your posts original and easy to read.
  • Share your knowledge - a blog post is the perfect place to share years of industry knowledge.
  • Keep it short - a good blog post is normally fairly short as attention spans when reading online are greatly reduced.
  • Facts - using facts within a post gives greater confidence to the reader making you more trustworthy.
  • Make the title catchy - if your title is lacking then people might not even make it as far as reading the post!
